Updated 2 Pages

It's almost 7 am, while sitting at my favorite Dunkin Donuts I've updated the "Backpack of Survival" page and made some slight changes to the "Different Types of Homelessness" page.

May you walk in the light of God.

Sincerely.

Health Problems

I'm going through some health problems myself at this time, with what looks to be a bacterial infection. This has inspired me to write a page on "Potential Health Problems" which someone who is homeless may face.

This week I will try to solidify the content a bit more and do some research on resources for the homeless across the United States. I'm considering expanding the coverage to Canada since we're neighbors and I'm yet to meet a Canadian I did not like.

Shutout to Nathan Fillion!

May you walk in the light of God.

Sincerely.

Luis.

More info on few choices

Today I've expanded the "When you have few choices" page adding info regarding water. I intend to work more on this blog later today.

May you walk in the light of God.

Sincerely.

Progress

I've made some progress this week. "Basic Rules of Being Homeless" page is up, may need to split it up to a more basic format and then have an Advanced Rules page for in-depth information. Also added "When you have few choices" page which gives advice if there are few resources available in the area.

I hope to God that this small corner of the web will help someone who is homeless or perhaps create awareness of homelessness in your area.

Note: The information provided applies to areas in the United States, but some could be used around the world.

May you walk under the light of God.

Sincerely.

So, what is this?

The first time I was homeless it lasted 5 months, now I'm homeless again but I've learned a lot more this time. So many people think "I'll never end up on the streets" yet sometimes that is where they end up. Reason go from losing a job, to getting divorced, addiction or just really bad weather.

In any case, I want to share my knowledge about being homeless so that those who are able to access the internet (which is very easy even being homeless) can avoid the mistakes I made and maybe even learn something new, or be inspired to not only survive but to raise above the situation they are in.

This site is under construction, and will be so for the next few months.

May you walk under the light of God.

Sincerely.

Luis
